Rashan Steward grew up on the south side of Chicago where he attended St. John De La Salle Elementary school until 7th grade, but graduated from Canter Middle School and went on to attend Seton Academy High school in South Holland Illinois. After being a student athlete and successfully completing four years of high school, he moved to Atlanta Georgia to attend Morehouse College.
