Queing Jones


Physical Education Teacher

Queing is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, and has over 15 years experience of working in creative learning environments. She’s taught in progressive private academies and charter schools in Chicago, and has helped create educational programming for museums and cultural organizations. Queing has also written dynamic health curriculum for P.E. departments and for non-profit organizations nationwide.

For fun, Queing enjoys attending live theater, concerts, and improv. Her most favorite thing of all is riding her bright purple bike with the red wheels.

Who do you admire most and why?

I most admire my grandmother, Wilda. She was so adventurous and hilarious!

Do you have any secret skills or hidden talents that most people don't know about?

One of my hidden talents is acting!

What has been your greatest adventure?

My greatest adventure so far has been jumping off of a pier into the Atlantic Ocean!

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about empowering women and girls to overcome the toxic thoughts that can make losing weight difficult. I support them through teaching and demonstrating how to practice fierce compassion and self love.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?

My favorite teacher was my 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Busby. She wrote the best comments on our report cards! Once she said of me, "Queing is such a delight!"
