Where would you most like to travel to and why?

Spain is at the top of my list of places to visit. I desire to learn more about my roots and explore the rich history, culture, and architecture Spain is known for.

Who do you admire most and why?

I most admire my mother and aunt Janette. My mother is probably the most meek and patient person I've ever known and I aspire to be like her everyday. My aunt Janette is a fountain of wisdom and I admire how fiercely she loves her family, especially her nieces and nephews, as if they were her own.

Do you have any secret skills or hidden talents that most people don't know about?

My father is a self-taught flautist and desiring to follow in his footsteps, I decided to take up the flute in elementary school. I don't play often, but when it do, it's like I've never stopped!

Who was your favorite teacher and why?

I've been so blessed to have phenomenal teachers throughout my education, however, the two that stand out most are my fourth grade teacher, Ms. Pyla and and my eighth grade math teacher, Mr. Prince. I felt a genuine love from both of these teachers for their students and much of their teaching and guidance have shaped me into the individual I am today.

My favorite thing about working at Namaste Charter School is...

The community. Upon arriving to Namaste, I desired to be a part of a community that felt like home, and I have absolutely felt that from the amazing staff members and families who make up this environment.
