Corporate giving
Corporate giving is a critical element in the success
of the newly founded Namaste Charter School. Starting
in the fall of 2004, Namaste will provide its students
with a rigorous academic program, coupled with education
in health, nutrition, and physical fitness –
skills that will last a lifetime. While Namaste
will receive half of its needed funding from state
and federal sources, Namaste counts on corporations
who believe in its goals to help fill the funding
gap and provide needed resources for its additional
programming, longer school day and year and parent
education component. Please show your support for
Namaste’s mission by considering a corporate
giving opportunity.
Faculty Fellowships, $40,000 per year.
Namaste has gathered a talented core of teachers
for its inaugural year. The faculty members are
responsible for the high academic achievement of
their students and for integrating health and nutrition
into the studies and daily lives of their students.
Your support of a faculty member touches each student
and family in the Namaste community and their classroom
will bear your corporation’s name.
Technology Teammate, $30,000 per year.
Namaste will use computers, online resources, and
additional audio-video equipment to ensure that
Namaste students have access to and become proficient
in the use of technology. Your gift will allow Namaste
to connect student learning to the real world through
the use of technology in the classroom.
Curriculum Supporter, $20,000 per year.
Namaste’s students receive regular classroom
instruction in all subjects ranging from literacy
to science. Your sponsorship will help supply books,
computer programs, hands-on manipulatives, curricular
and professional development materials to ensure
that Namaste students have access to materials of
the highest quality to aid in their education.
Cafeteria Sponsor, $15,000 per year.
One of Namaste Charter School’s core values
is that a healthy lifestyle leads to a more active
mind. A major part of this healthy lifestyle is
healthy food options for its students. Your endowment
will provide a month’s worth of healthy lunches
to our students.
Midterm Programming (Break Backer), $8,000
per program.
Namaste’s year around calendar allows for
two intercessions per year. During this four week
period, the school will contract with different
agencies and individuals to provide enrichment and
remediation programs. We envision bringing in theater,
arts, athletic, test preparation, or other groups
to run week-long programs during the intercession.
With your assistance, Namaste can provide its students
with a diverse array of opportunities.
Student Programming, $5,000 per program.
Namaste’s students will participate in enriching
field trips and after school activities that will
support the school’s emphasis on health and
physical fitness. With your assistance, Namaste
can provide a diverse array of opportunities ranging
from yoga to team sports to cooking classes.
Corporate Donors will be recognized in Namaste’s
newsletters and throughout the school building.
