Admissions
As a public charter school, state law dictates the admissions procedure for Namaste Charter School and all charter schools in Illinois. Admission to Namaste Charter School is by blind lottery. Applications are available on this website and at the school office in January of each year and the blind lottery is held in early April for all applications received by the end of March.
2010-2011 School Year
The 2010 - 2011 deadline for student enrollment applications was March 26, 2010 (applications postmarked or received in person by 4:00pm). In accordance with state law, Namaste Charter School held a blind lottery for 2010 - 2011 enrollment on April 8, 2010 for all applications received by this deadline. Notification of admission or waiting list placement was mailed to all families that submitted an application. Please call the school (773-715-9558) with any questions. Applications for student enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year are still accepted but all applications received after the deadline will be placed on the waiting list in the order received.

Open houses for interested families will be held at the school on the following dates:
- Wednesday, January 20, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
- Thursday, February 18, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
- Saturday, March 13, 10:00am - 11:00am
Timeline of
events/deadlines
Namaste Charter School held the annual lottery for 2009-2010 student admissions on April 9, 2009 in the basement of the rectory next to the school located at 3737 S. Paulina Street. Letters have been mailed to all families indicating the results.
Families may continue to submit completed applications to Namaste Charter School for the 2009-2010 school year,
but these applications will be placed on the waiting list in the order received. Applications are available at the school 3737 S. Paulina or online (click the "English version" or the "Spanish version" above).
